As an extension of our commitment to intellectual integrity, Barquin

issues of computer use and ethical behavior. As a supporting member of the
Computer Ethics Institute, Barquin experts assist in the management of a
yearly Computer Ethics Summit and the moderation of an online discussion
about computer ethics.

We have become a key player within the realm of e-government, and
in partnership with the
Brookings Institution we have provided
intellectual expertise for federal seminars and programs focused on the

International Development and
Finance
With our partnership
International Development and Finance, we
have expanded our consulting services to encompass Latin American IT
development, procurement and management challenges.
International Development and Finance are experts in designing,
implementing and monitoring private sector reform services.
During the 1990's, IDF has assisted newly formed government (previously
communist countries) to build market economies, promote
entrepreneurs and develop private sector entities.
This partnership allows us to offer IT development services within these
countries with a multi-cultural approach and a solid understanding of global
best practices. Most recently, this partnership allowed us to provide
consulting services to assist the El Salvadorian government in understanding
the international IT development services market and with the development
of a national IT strategy.
